Harwich Elementary School

In the fall of 2006, Cape Light Compact's "Solarize Our Schools" program placed (21) 2.04 kW solar electric systems (PV) on schools and public buildings through the Cape Light Compact Green^SM power supply program and the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative's Clean Energy Choice^SM initiatives.

There are many benefits to this program and they include the encouragement of energy education in schools, reduction of energy costs to the town, support of local renewable energy sources, and help to the environment with cleaner energy options.
